J Castillo Films is a New York based boutique cinematography studio that was established in 2011 by JayR Castillo. JayR’s team offers a unique and keen artistic perspective in their craft resulting in a masterpiece produced for every client. His background as a musician allows the team to beautifully interweave musicality to each client’s film. As a boutique studio, they only accept a limited number of clients per year to maintain and deliver the highest quality of products.

Aside from wedding cinematography, J Castillo Films covers a wide array of functions including Sweet Sixteens, Corporate Events, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Their production crew has also been heavily involved with producing dynamic documentaries and amazing music videos for a select group of clientele.

The team’s goal is to capture and create films that clients will love and be proud of for the rest of their lives. The team has put together cinematic stories that clients have cherished in a way that is specifically unique to J Castillo Films style.

JayR believes that his work doesn’t begin and end during filming. He ensures that the whole experience (Inquiry -> Booking -> Song Selection -> Meetings -> Filming -> Fully Edited Product) would be seamless and an enjoyable experience for his clients.
