In 7 days ? Seven days from what ? We need a specific time here.
Let's set the end date to July 27 at 12:00 am. Although i do want to reserve the right not to sell in case of complications. Basically what i'm saying is i can't take too much of a loss on the unit. Otherwise i could just keep the ASIC and profit from mining.

Then why auction it with $1 as a starting bid ? You should have thought about all these aspects, and their consequences, before putting the auction thread up.

Sometimes, you don't want to. When you start an auction, it's not a good idea, because you want it to be the most detailed as you can.
That way potentiel bidders can bid with confidence.
I chose $1 to get the auction started and get the ball rolling. The next rule i propose is serious inquires only.
