Short term trading are for veteran who has enough experience in the market and has some good strategy to trade it. It is faster to make daily porfit because most of the time it is on basis of day trader. But long term mostly are on swing trading which can last for some days to weeks and to months. There longterm will require your patient before you reap your profit.
I think short term investment is good for making huge profits. You will have to wait for long time if you just buy and hold your coins in your wallet. If you have trading experience and skills then you can make more money in less time and there is no need to do any other work? If you have no time then trading is difficult for you. Keep your coins for long time.
