I have same error message when start the ethminer0.16_dev1
Please test for example with nanopool. We tested this pool. Also this is dev version so i guess it can have some problem.
I suggest going to etherminer thread and ask there.
Tried with other pools (nanopool, dwarfpool, sparkpool) and getting the same error message:

Miner ended/crashed. Restarting miner in 10 seconds --------------No problems with ethminer-v0.14.0.
This dev ethminer has some bugs so i moved it into trash.
We will add it as soon as there will be stable version.
