I like the nuke idea, although not all reporting leads to nuking and thus it may be slightly focused on one of the possible outcomes of reporting. I thought about a “fuck you” finger icon, laughed at the idea for a minute, and then saw it too offensive to be sustainable really.

I then went over to reviewing Greek Gods, to see if any would fit. Ares was the God of War, and by title seemed fit. Nevertheless, he is often described as a coward, often suffering some kind of humiliation, and was not really worshipped to a large extent in ancient Greece.

On the other hand, Zeus, his father, seems a much better candidate. Zeus was the supreme God and ruled Mount Olympus. As such, he was revered by all and was described as a God who brought peace in a place of violence. He also maintained moral and justice and was also known as “Polieos” for overseeing the Polis (city).

His symbol is lightning, so either an icon with lightning in different colours could be used (i.e. yellow, orange, red) or an array of red lightning icons repeated from 1 to three times.

Note: My memory lags a bit on Greek Gods, so I has to check the facts on http://greekgodsandgoddesses.net/gods/zeus/.

Edit: The idea would be something like , playing with the colors for each report rank. Unfortunately, being colorblind makes colors a bit of a challenge for me.
