Such numbers are indeed scaring. 2200 units of Z9 mini units mining is almost beyond imagination in this stage, and on the long run it will likely affect the community quite a lot. I think the team has to monitor the situation closely.
This is what we know, but what about those experimental machines we are not aware that maybe can be customized for every single algo in existence with very small efforts and surprisingly fast..What if this is future, what then? Fork to different algo can be useless in this situation, so better to look for an sustainable solution instead.
This can become our reallity very soon.

What are you talking about MedaR, FPGA mining? Or other kind of machine like IBM Big Blue...?
One thing i know, not to do nothing may not kill but will harm a lot Zencash.

There are guys right now that are mining huge quantities of ZEN daily, that can be used to manipulate the prices during a lot of time, and make of old miners and hodlers a bunch of suckers...

I believe in this project, concerning the vision that developers have to the future of the project, and i am not totally agains ASIC´s also, but not in a young stage of a coin, and ZEN is at a very young stage of its life.
