Certainly these systems can be likened to each other. Both systems are being used as a reward mechanism. Members who produce quality content, useful messages and ancillary messages earn the benefits they already earn both monetarily and meritfully. For that reason I do not understand the people who oppose this system, usually they are labor thieves or stingy people.
