Sponsy platform will operate on top of Ethereum network. However, with transactions number growing higher and higher, we expect to deploy our own blockchain, and transfer Sponsy operations to it.

A very new blockchain or do you already have a plan which one you are going to fork?

We plan to deploy our own blockchain because that would allow for greater flexibility.

Maybe it would be a good decision to wait if Ethereum can solve scaling problems. Being on their network also means a lot more network effects. Do you agree?

Absolutely. Ethereum is a great product with a high-end team with a proven track record. Luckily, our core product, which is a Sponsy Platform facilitating sponsorship deals conclusion, does not constitute a high-transactional business. This means we do not have any urgent necessity to operate on a highly scalable blockchain from the day 1. Even though we plan to start offering ticketing solutions to our clients in the future, we will have plenty of time to make a correct decision.

that's good and gives you some room to make the right decision as you said. If Ethereum solves the scalability problems it would be even better. Not only for you, but for any dApp running on Ethereum.
