Read the AMA, some interesting stuff in there. Micon did pretty much duck the question regarding reducing the krill freerolls.
They're not as reduced as you might think. They're less frequent, but considering the vast increases in the value of Bitcoin, are either almost as good or possibly even better than the previous krillroll setup.
I do think there should probably be more krillrolls for lower krill players just because people like to play poker, but I think the main issue there is the shitty Briggs software can't deal with 500+ players.
I agree with above. Only thing I don't agree with is the 150k krill roll which makes that level an impossibility for the average player who has not been playing from day 1. To give 5k in chips or 5 bitcoins to players who reached these levels when bitcoin was 5 dllars or less is unfair to the average krillers and is taking a lot of chips (5000) away for a few players. Almost like the let them eat cake Marie Antionette mentality. 5k in bitcoins is more then all the krillrolls combined completely unfair to other players who krill for the site and have no hope of getting to this level . I put in a lot of volume to get to 30k in krill after not playing ring for a long time.
The 25krill that was added was awesome I would have loved to have seen a 40krill freeroll added as well. People grind and that provides rake for the site when players have incentive to do so. There is zero incentive for the avg player that comprise the site and its almost a slap in face to have 150krill with 5k in chipsl given to a few players. The 5 bitcoin 150k krill is taking away too much from the masses for the few and should be changed.
