Lovely. Now we will get a whole bundle of inexperienced people into the crypto world, who join before doing any research because a reality star talked about it, only to start panic selling as soon as the market dips (next up, Kylie Jenner accepting BTC to purchase her cosmetics).
Do you even know what you're taking about? The only way bitcoin will rise in value in the first place is by new money coming in. If no fresh money comes in then the price will stagnate and won't rise at all, but even if these Kardashian crypto newbies did sell their coins then it's money that wouldn't have even been there in the first place without her promotion. You should be lucky for any sort of promo from celebrities, but Kim Kardashian posting a ten second video on an instagram story that will be gone within 24 hours isn't exactly noteworthy and the people who will actually invest from that would almost certainly be very minimal if any at all. Most of her fans will be completely obvious to bitcoin even after her posting that, but maybe it will pique the interest of some and anyone using bitcoin at all is good for bitcoin in my opinion.
You're completely right in my opinion, we should treat Bitcoin as something only the tech-savvy can make use of.
It needs to be accessible for everyone, even Kim Kardashian...
I do think it's pretty noteworthy, she has millions of followers who track her every move, even a small mention like this will not go unnoticed.
