Such a place should also have easy access to the Internet, Bitcoin Exchanges, maybe Bitcoin ATMs (that would be nice

Many suggestions here are including Germany, Japan, South Korea or Switzerland as those countries are known for their positive attitude towards cryptocurrency. But I bet most of people do not know that there is no even one BTC ATM in Germany, and that there is only 11 BTC ATMs in Japan. From that point of view Germany and Japan do not looks as some crypto-friendly countries, especially Japan with its high taxes and very costly living expenses.
Germany is good for holders, 1+ year after you buy BTC you can sell it with no tax - and if you look for European country with most BTC ATMs Austria is neighbour country with 149 ATMs.
I have info that some interesting things also happens in Croatia regarding crypto-exchanges, they open few physical exchanges where you just walk and buy/sell BTC, by what I heard there is no need for any ID if you sell crypto up to some 2000 euros per transaction.
