We are currently talking with developers, asking them to add all outstanding tasks to the Pivotal Tracker. The pivotal tracker is the best estimation that developers can provide us with. The dates changes based on their productivity. The good thing is that security auditing is happening in parallel to development and the devs are checking and addressing issues all the time.

No good for the delay. But the transparency is good. I understand that the good product never rush out.
Every software project has delays. I am working more than 10 years as software engineer in different companies and I have never seen a project that met the planned deadline.

i also know that 99% of projects managers in crypto can't do there job. a good programmer is often not a good project manager!
i was working with and also as an IT project manager for corporate software and know there are very big differences in competence in this job profile.
also there is a big difference between "managing" delays properly or just saying "ups" a week before the deadline...
