I'll be getting a Toyota Corolla, maybe a new one but probably one 1-3 years old with low KM. It doesn't draw attention and I prefer to remain low key.
Why would you want an expensive sports car that draws attention, costs a lot of money to maintain and insure and will lose value as the years go by. It's a massive waste of money, don't piss your bitcoins away on useless shit that you don't really need. If you must have one, lease one until the novelty wears off.
Of course, I say this as a man in his 30's. If I was in my late teens or early 20's, I would be going straight to the Porsche dealership.
The only big ticket items I would purchase is property.
I agree to a certain point.
If it does make it big, I am still going with a Tesla or some form of electric car. Despite it being expensive, it pays back for itself.
The main purchase I will make is to convert all of my family's vehicles into electric and our housing into solar. Never pay electricity or gas again.
From there, your children or grandchildren will thank you when they inherit a paid off car or house with no upkeep other than property taxes.
Thus, in this model, the rich get richer. Generate wealth is the key objective. I do see many other people just pissing it away on a Lamborghini or exotic car that has 20 MPG and high upkeep.
