I agree with you that bitcoin will probably will never be the main global currency, but it can replace the current internet payment systems, instead of paying with credit card over the internet that will also require you to reveal your credit card details, you can play anonymously with bitcoin.
I kind of agree with you on this. I dont know how popular bitcoin is in every country, as I am sure there are still people out there who have never heard of bitcoin where bitcoin/crypto is already popular. But I also agree that it may replace the current internet payment systems. Not soon but maybe in 5-10 years time. There are ewallets now where you no longer need a bank account but still allows you to withdraw your fund so it is highly possible bitcoins can become like that in the future.
