I think CAT is a great tool to increase ur alt portfolio, but is bad in making more bitcoins through altcoins.

I'm using it for my mining operations. Mine 100WDC, feed CAT with it to have more WDC later; but don't think "btc" or you"ll go crazy

If you want to make btc's just buy a $/btc arbitrage bot.
