These numbers are really intriguing, but what do you mean for "2 % of investors"? Is it 2% of the popukation (I don't think so) and if not what do you consider to be an "investor"?
That's a good point. The article says the poll is "based on U.S. adults with $10,000 or more invested in stocks, bonds or mutual funds, either within or outside a retirement savings account". It'd be interesting to see the same poll based off a more general representation of the population.
