Have you seen how many vendors accept verge as payment now. Its a work in progress one which we will one day win.

If you have lower confirmation times it's ok. Right now we all have to be honest that it's not very beneficial for any merchant to accept crypto. We need to improve that situation.

it's very beneficial to accept crypto for merchants. that's why million and multi million dollar companies are accepting verge. no charge backs, lower fees than credit cards, and very fast confirmation times. there are -only- benefits and -no- drawbacks.

As long as the network doesn't hit its transaction per second limit you are right, but Verge could also face bottlenecks if out of a sudden network usage surges a lot or not?

no, it wont. we can handle 20x more tx's than bitcoin, and bitcoin has only barely reached their limit a few times.

But why do you say it won't? Could easily scale if it's necessary if Verge became adopted by the mainstream? 20x Bitcoin transactions would still not be enough.

if we get even 10x the amount of bitcoin transactions in each block, we will immediately scale to handle more, very quickly. that part is easy.
