I've been using Gunbot for a few weeks now with just Emotionless with some minor success. (at least I haven't lost in this market)
My question is what coins to people use? Is it a good idea just to use the top 20 or 50 or 100 coins from coinmarketcap? Or is your strategy more targeted than that? I noticed that with too many pairs, Gunbot eats all my btc and gives me bags

I've been using Gunbot since it came out and I'm pleased with it, bear market or not. Here's my version of an answer to your question - it works for me fwiw. My suggestion is - choose your coins in such a way that if you wind up with a bag of them you'll be proud, not disappointed. In other words, choose only coins you feel might change the world for the better (or whatever criterion you think is important), rather than coins that you hope might moon quickly. If you choose that way, you'll have a little smile all the time whether the markets are up or down, and you're more likely to have bags of perceived assets rather than regrets.
"Emotionless" means there is no hurry - that complicates things for humans.
