Not fishy, this is what happens when someone starts buying up all the offers.
My comment is anecdotal. I meant that the amount bought is more than what has been available in the past of constantly around 20btc. There is just under 20BTC available today after all that buying.
So I'm putting the thought out there that it maybe something like wash trading.
If it is I hope it is good for everyone and not just the feathery whale.
