One of the best features of Bitcoin is it's anonymity. This is also one of the reason why countries are banning or at least hesitant to embrace the technology. Just as you Bitcoin can be used for terrorism funding, the Fiat especially the USD can also be used for the same purpose. Were terrorist not funded before the inception of Bitcoin in 2009? Illegal drug transactions were in existence before Bitcoin. The truth behind the attacks from the media and government is jut one - the governments are afraid of the decentralized nature of Bitcoin which takes the power back to the people.
