What will happen to the token utility and token economy if only few institutions adopt the token?
It is unlikely that only few institutions will adopt the token, as many have already expressed interest in the platform. However, even in this instance, the token retains its utility through platform tuition fees, rewards, sponsorships and bursaries, as well as any other paid activities which may be introduced in the future.
Than good. For what purposes can they be used?
There are various transactional use cases that we'd like to highlight here:
a. Universities/External Organisations pay with OPET tokens to access specific user data.
b. External validation nodes get rewarded tokens from Opets incentive pool for validating the data
c. Users who contribute to the channel get rewarded tokens
d. Banks/philanthropies lend/donate money to the user through the platform. They are able to monitor the progress on the blockchain.
e. Student users can use the tokens to purchase our digital services.
