what some people do with a tool doesn't define the true usage of that tool. you can pick your tooth with a dagger but that doesn't make the dagger a toothpick!
some people will use bitcoin as an speculation tool like the millions of people around the world who are investing in Forex market and are using US dollar, Japanese Yen,... as speculation tools but that doesn't make USD, JPY,... any less of a currency.
We may have some different in opinion about the actual use of Bitcoin, But it posses a lot of usage in the market, traders use it for trading business in crypto market, some are using the HODL then re Sell it again, it maybe huge participation of a lot on investment, still it is an individual preference on how to make use the Bitcoin for the said individual. we can see more Huge investment it give us a good profits, not to mention that Market is Volatile...good luck.
