I doubt that Russia will allow its citizens to use crypto currency without state control. And the government can use tokens to circumvent international sanctions.
Russia has long accepted cryptocurrency, but the Russian Government is still thinking how to accept, control and receive income. Although they do not even suspect that everything will spit on them.
