Hi here,
To be fully transparent, we have uncertainty related to operate a swap with Howl tokens.
Currently, we are analyzing a project and building a team. I'm proud of what we achieved.
Relating to Howl, we have identified issues. These aspects have been discussed by all the team (howl holders and news members).
4/ Legal aspects: The old devs has intellectual property for howl project : logo, design, idea,.... If our project succeeds, there is a possibility he claims something. It's a second risk to take.
Thank you.
Did he patent all those logo, design, idea,.... ? Did he register HOWL trademark? If not, all rekevant fears are hard to understand. Moreover, as you said the idea will be changed. Both logo and design are no things for us, bound to the likes of them.
I think you are absolutely right, if nothing was legally registered/patented, point 4 has no sense ... and especially if the plan is to change name, logo, etc...
concerning the swap and possible hidden dev addresses, there are known addresses from the dev where the dev funds are located (or most of them), can't see why those couldn't be excluded and the rest considered... even if there is one or two more dev addresses, surely this won't influence the "economics" of the new token anymore that having a few large holders of the token...
Is there any new info about the new plan? The new project is going to be a completely separate one or not?
cheers
well, all that was mentioned above was the same thing I tried to explain to @articrypto but still he still held on to going for a totally new project, there are probably some other personal reasons for his decision which I understand,
And to your question. YES.... the new project has nothing to do with howl, it's a completely new project...... Sad 😔
