I think it would be hard to any other coins to surpass bitcoin in any ways. Bitcoin will remain on top and no one can replace it because it has passed all the tests of time and it has a achieved a lot already. It's value is higher than any coins which is hard to attain. The trust of people is also in bitcoin for years.
