There's at least 100 ways to make FLDC have more value and trinkets isn't one of them.

Out of the 100 ways, could you tell us which are the top 10, according to you?

1st one that comes to mind would be switching to the Komodo platform. As an independent assetchain, it could be it's own secure chain, could even add PoS in the process as an added bonus for those with "retired", old CPUs, and the whole excuse of not switching due to legacy addresses goes out the window because address conversion is ultra simple and across hundreds of coins/chains (tbh, that excuse never really held water because it's never been difficult to convert keys/addresses across).
Setting my favorite aside, pretty much anything that simplifies it all, disposes of extra layers, and/or does away with added BTC fees would add value to FLDC. 2014 is over, let it go and embrace the fact that using a commodity (specifically BTC) as a means of transferring a value token (FLDC) as extraneous data is a novel concept, but doesn't allow for actual growth or advancement (especially when that vehicle of transport often adds transport costs [both financially and in terms of time] entirely unassociated with said token).
