MeFy Partners with Shivom to Foster Healthcare Data Collection and Accessibility in Developing Economies
As a step towards building the worlds most extensive database of DNA records and genetics profiles, MeFy has struck a partnership with Shivom. The MeFy platform will collect data through various sources such as MeFy Edge & Nano clinics and access to Hospitals databases. The existing IOT has 17 health parameters and the next generation release (2019) will have more than 60 health parameters. We expect to roll out approximately 1000 MeFy Edge clinics by mid of 2019.
Shivoms data processing and analysis of genomics sequence data using cutting edge technologies will enable both the organizations to create the comprehensive database of genetic profiles. The impact of R&D integrated with MeFys health data and genomic data will open new doors for new drug development.
MeFys platform and the complete architecture on how data is stored and processed will help to identify rare diseases. More importantly the partnership with Shivom will help to create personalized treatment plans for the patients suffering from heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer, diabetes and stroke (leading causes of deaths across the world).
The MeFy platform will be installed in hospitals and other medical institutions in India, and ultimately Africa, and Asia. Mefy is committed to utilizing the amassed data of patient records for integrating AI solutions to provide insights for research, analysis, and development.
