I wanted to support the project, but I was upset by the fact that I started to receive emails from the project, which I did not subscribe to. Probably, the team bought somewhere a database of addresses and began to send spam. Not good.

Thank you for the message and concerns.. we are sorry that we had upsetted you. We were abiding by GDPR and had explained (in the footer of all our emails) where your contact detail comes from and the reason for the email. Additionally you had the opportunity to unsubscribe from the mailing list. As you know we have not sent emails for some time, however we are planning to do so from later in the month.
Therefore, how do you think we can reach out responsibility to more people to get our messages?
