Hello! Will there be a reduction in the block reward? With the current reward, the price of the coin will not be high.
Halving occurs every 420,690 blocks. Currently tux is at block 50,475 which leaves 370,215 blocks to go. At 1 block a minute that's approximately 257 days from now.. or about April 23, 2019.
