First rule: always listen to @DdmrDdmr
Second rule: your activity does not increment itself the same as your post count. I mean: you have your posting count, and your activity will increase 1 per day, so, NO, you don`t need to write and write a lot of useless post in order to augment your activity, for it will grow every 14 days, more or less a post per day.
So, if you just write a post per day is enough. Now, knowing that, why don`t you just invest all that energy you are taking from you in posting nonsense quotes in megathreads in a good one single post per day?? It will be much better to your posting history and also will give you the chance to, eventually, rank-up in here, make a good name and become a person of relevance to the forum.

All that energy wasted...
