What do you mean by the abbreviation BAADD? What kind of media is it?

BAADD stands for big, anti-competitive, addictive, and destructive to democracy technology firms.

What is the role of these firms? Can You give an example.

One can name Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook. Their combined market capitalization amounts to a whopping $3.5 trillion!

It is not only the Big Five that are labelled as BAADD, you should also think of the likes of Tencent, Alibaba, Baidu, Uber, and Tesla. Everybody is afraid of these large tech companies and believes that bad things are about to happen.

but why these companies are so controversial?

I think there is nothing to worry about, these types of media served positive functions such as making the voices of people coming together to bring down dictatorship and corruption and so on.

However, even before these proper functions were sufficiently enjoyed, many social problems caused by these functions began to be pointed out.

What problems do you mean?

so-called BAADD firms cause social problems such as Economic inequality due to exclusive distribution, Biased information delivery and political abuse, Personal information leakage, Personal information infringement, Digital addiction, etc.

Thus, this project was started in order to solve these problems by unbundling the mechanism that BAADD has, building Exa Media Platform in which blockchain technology and the coin circulation or value exchange are combined, and making a new media ecosystem that enables anyone, including the people from traditional mass media, to actualize decentralized application services.
