I have also the same effect. Bitcoin is a volatile currency and we know that at the beginning. So some the invest in bitcoin is profitable and some time invest in it not profitable for me. So in the investment section, i have both sweet and bitter experiences. I love the money transaction facility. In which no third party like bank involved because of this the transaction speed is high. And it also charge low transaction cost. But in this transaction section i have some bitter experience. If once transaction is done then you cannot reverse it and this the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin. Some other bitter experiences i had with bitcoin is, i cannot convert it into my country national currency because of its ban in my country.
