I have observed that the bitcoin price has not really yet soar up high just like its performance in the recent year 2017. However, it can be seen that the price is actively moving up and down and I believe that if you have enough fund it is a wise move to buy bitcoin and you can just keep it and once you  see that the price is moving high and you think you can have profit you can sell it again and then buy again. We have to go with the flow in order to maximize the benefit out of it, it is not like because the value is small we cannot do business anymore.
