I think if you picked high quality projects HOLDing is a fine strategy. Of course you need to sell if you get up huge. But holding is a good idea as long as you have a exit plan and a solid project. Going on an emotional trading frenzy to regain your losses is a much worse victim to be.
I believe you are right that hodling is a fine strategy to do if you believe you picked a high quality project. There's no doubt that if the project is high quality the value of it's token will rise after several months. Anyway still good trading skills is the best strategy of all. Enhance your trading skills so you won't be a victim.
