This is completely possible this is what happened with the last bear market created by Mt Gox, but for some reason people believe that this time is going to be different and that we are going to see a fast recovery, I think we need to prepare ourselves for the very real possibility that this market will last for several years, personally I would like that to happen since I want to see bitcoin for cheap prices for a very long time.
