I don't think Ethereum is dead, it is just resting. I think this price decline also occurs on other coins. Even though in 3 months, crypto is in an alarming period, but I don't think this will last long. It only takes a few more months, I think the price of coins, including Eth will rise again.
It is not about of losing our hope but seeing drowning price of ETH simply make us down also. May we could consider this as a strategic way of resting but it gives worries for eveybody who are investing ETH since before and hoping it will wake up from a long sleep.
