As for me, Ethereum have enormous potential in future and floor for the growth, but if we are talking about deadline DEC 2018, so my pick will be Bitcoin. Dominance is increasing, it means everyone accumulating BTC, and it is a good sign.
Having to spend that money for Ethereum is a pretty cool thing. I would just not spend that money on anything.
