The product is very important, but as we could see in past, even projects with no real products gained really great hype and mooned. Marketing is very powerful in crypto and many teams have actually great products, but they don't pay attention to marketing and nobody knows them and nobody buys their tokens. So I'd say having a good product with a great marketing strategy is the ultimate combination to success.
