You need to be very careful with this kind of thinking. Don't equate education with "formal schooling". Education will undoubtedly improve your life. It is certainly one of the most important things there is. That doesn't mean that going to a formal education institute will always be the best option. It also doesn't always mean that you will be paid more after you study more you'll make more money. You will likely be a "poorer" person if you go to a university in the US.
