The US Treasury in its report draws attention to the fact that the blockchain is already used in financial companies of the country.
The issue of cryptocurrencies was not bypassed in the report: according to the authors of the document, "the interest in crypto assets on the part of financial regulators has increased enormously over the past year."

If it is so then why does the US do not support ICOs and do not legalize Bitcoin? There are lot of reported scams from US citizens who got involve in cryptocurrency and because of that their government ban ICO's and put crypto on hold until regulations are finish and finalize.
