I don't have time for what I'm already working on, let alone taking on something mostly pointless like this.

Right now the coins can only be produced by those who can afford the btc. By making it available to everyone, scrypt clones become worthless. Which is what we want. They'll get ignored and we can focus on genuinely innovative altcoins and end this attack on the altcoin community.

My plan is to make it a marketplace. Of course your coin is going to flop if it is not innovative. So essentially coingen becomes a mix between kickstarter and freelancer.com. If you fund some dev to integrate the Primecoin proof of work, you get a share of that revenue. If you come up with a whole new proof of work then you are going to get a whole much more revenue.

Good idea or am I just stupid?

Your wallet should be telling you how good an idea it is. I wish I had thought of it.
