Maybe because he don't have the control in crypto and he cannot mandate the people who are using this crypto currency, that is why he said that. They cannot manipulate things here.
I don't think he literally said that, and possibly it was just his opinion and not a certain conclusion over cryptocurrency. With regards to controlling crypto, nobody can manipulate the price since big whales like him always attempt to do that. Everything can be difficult but the people still trusted how cryptocurrency could provide us better profit.
