@Casinocoin
Hello
How are you going to receive the payments? A wallet for each user? They have to register to play?
Also I was trying to contact you on skype let me know when you have time.
Thanks
There will be no registration! Each user will be able to generate a unique url for their profile page.
It can be sent to their email and or bookmarked for future reference. A person could obviously take picture, screenshot as well anything that will keep a record of the address( for example:
https://www.casinocoincity.com/?******************************************* The person would save this(stars are numbers and letters didnt want to make anything up)
This page would act as their "profile" with deposit, withdraw options available.
I will go on now, been busy over the last few days using my mac for development purposes.
Will that unique page still be password protected?
They will be encrypted on the back end and stored on a seperate server. No passwords required it would be alot more work, but we will in the future. For now you will have to store your url in a safe place.
As for the wallet download I will upload one and provide the link here.
This model is not secure.
1. Anyone with access to your bookmarks has access to withdraw your balance.
2. Anyone with access to your web history has access to withdraw your balance.
3. Most importantly, anyone with access to your traffic has access to withdraw your balance. HTTPS doesn't encrypt the web request. In fact, newb network admins at your ISP will have access to withdrawl your balance.
User account management is not hard to implement. You could even use an existing framework:
http://bitcoinphp.com/http://usercake.com/To be honest, if my developer suggested this authentication model, I would immediately cancel the contract and find someone who knows what they're doing.
When you were going to launch your own coin, you said you had two developers, a marketing guy, and were in conversations with some casinos? Where did they do? Maybe they can help out with coding the user access module on your site.
Also, can you screen capture the game that you almost have ready so we can see it in action? I know it's not fully ready for beta, but if you're able to see/play it, let's get some screen shots and screen video of you playing it. It might raise the price some!
Well are you going to help fund and pay for all the costs of this, or develop it yourself ? Not trying to sound like a dick, but it just cant be done..Not yet I'm no rich guy and don't have any more money to spend on things that are not giving any roi. After the altcoin downtrend my portfolio is nil compared to what is was a month ago. Im not saying it wont be worth more when the price goes back up obviously, but at this moment I am pockets deep with really not much to show for. This Casino was never intended to be a source of income for me or I may have invested everything here and had swisssoft integrate CSC @ a price of around $5000-$10000
Yes, Three developers who moved on to launch their own coin on these forums, they were only interested in creating a new coin and building quite a bit of hype.
It is doing quite successful, for now.
As well the guys working on the current project said that the only way one would have access to the url is if you did bookmark it and someone accessed your browser. Thats why i said take a picture delete the history after you play and withdraw when you are done. These other casinos that you have seen are created by a skilled development team who is devoted to earning an income from the casino. If i knew or had people who would help with these things, the games, etc then it would be different.
I don't know what exactly you're building it on. But, would using Apache's openid module work, or maybe do oauth and at least get it going with google authentication?
I use specialized equipment for authentication at work, but if template builders like joomla can handle authentication and self registration...
Doge dice is still doing pretty well from what I can see, and they're using the same url based model ( although making an account is an option ).
