Are you sure this is the main cause that makes bitcoin price crash so bad? I thought is because of something else like some exchangers got hack or it just followed the trends like last year. Keep the faith for bitcoin.
The bitcoin boom seems to be over for now, its currently trading at $6,4500 and I personally welcome it. The market is telling us something loud and clear, we do not need 1000 different alt coins (alternative currencies) and the crash will most certainly get rid of these. A consolidation of quality projects within crypto will bring about the start of true bitcoin dominance.
