Getting a banking licence is not a necessity for BABB, it's their preference. BABB intends to apply formally for a banking license very soon. Receiving a banking license will enable BABB to take deposits and conduct treasury management on those funds allowing an additional revenue source. BABB has many options for a partner banks across Europe if it does not obtain a banking licence in the UK or Europe in 2018. If BABB has any issues with a partner bank in the UK, it has many options in Europe where BABB can hold segregated accounts.
