Like mdayonliner said, you should enjoy life to its fullest. If you keep thinking about this idea too much, your health will be affected badly. Added to that, you cannot do anything about your idea. Just share it to your trusted friends. You can try to save money if you really are committed to your idea. I do not know what your idea is, but if it is worth it, then go ahead and talk to your father. Perhaps he can get a loan and help you out. We all have ideas that can make us billionaires. But we need it to get sponsored first.

I second this, unless the idea gives you joy, just don't let it stress you out. I really feel for your situation. At the end of the day, ideas are great, but they aren't worth much until put into practice, so if you can find a partner that can work with you (with your knowledge of the idea), that might not be a bad idea.

Also, don't hold onto your idea not telling anyone for fear of someone stealing your idea. This is a common mistake. At the end of the day, it's not the idea, its the implementation of the idea that counts; and sharing/gathering advice from others is infinitely more valuable than the chance of someone else stealing it.

A few months back I thought of a real world crypto application that could be a billion dollar idea. Every time I ponder it, it becomes more attractive.

Send me a PM with your idea. I will obviously keep it confidential like I always do.

I can evaluate it and tell you if it's a pipe dream or not.  Smiley

I'd vouch for Vod's appraisal Smiley
