I don't understand what you mean by manipulators eroding trust in Bitcoin. It's true that this year has not been particularly good for not only bitcoin but the entire crypto market but I don't want to subscribe to the theory that it's been market manipulators. The year has been full of bad news to start with, although am not completely ruling out the place of manipulators but I think their role here is being exaggerated.
