Would you stop after you reached your goal or would you set new goals after that? When will you stop collecting and hoarding your coins or are we all a bunch of Scrooge McDucks?

i think a realistic goal in life is one that always evolves. you are never supposed to reach your goal. you always push it further down the road and then try to catch up with it. for example i had the goal to reach 0.1BTC back in 2014, then i pushed it back to 1 whole bitcoin and so on.
it is always good to have long term and short term goals. for example you can set a goal that you reach in a month and set an ultimate goal of being a millionaire that you reach in a couple of years.

Yes, exactly what I have said. The problem is that people are not setting any goals for their Bitcoin investments. They get side tracked by the multiple goods and services on offer and they spend most of their coins. It is easy to get say $10 worth of bitcoins a week and wasting that on gambling or some cheap product on some ecommerce site that accepts bitcoins.

It is difficult to set aside say 80% of all the bitcoins that you are buying or earning and setting some goals will concentrate your efforts to do that. Tell yourself that you want to own say 10 bitcoins in the next 5 years and you will work towards that goal.  Wink
