I think the best way to get a short-term profit is to invest in a good ICO project. The problem is that it is now very difficult to find it, especially for beginners. If you are willing to take risks, then invest in ICO.
Irrespective of any coin you are getting into, the only way to take short term profit is to learn how to trade as there is absolutely no other better way. As long as you can follow trend and can play with that, taking short term profits either in an uptrend or a downtrend becomes easy. You have to know when you should be entering a position, exiting a position and stopping loss. All these cannot be done without trading knowledge f you want to go the short term way.
