I'm not really sure that disabling updates in Windows is a good idea. It's better to set them on
Manual. That way you may choose how and when to install them, without interrupting your mining, but its' better to know of them. Because, Windows may have important security updates, which if you miss to install, may leave your system vulnerable and prone to malicious attacks.
